backpack, pouche and pencil case
Hi guys! I came today to talk to you about my pretty (well it is pretty, right?) black backpack i did this week.
It's been a while since I wanted a backpack but could'nt find one that pleased me. They've been too expensive or just not the colour I wanted.(plus I can make o for 6 euros sooo...)
Anyway. At first i wanted a light toned one but didn't have any fabric (nor money to buy some). I began by searchin in my "clothes to modify/ destroy" box and found this perfect flower fabric that I saved for something special (I bought it with my little sister and made a dress for her even though she doesn't wear it grr). And i thought "this is it! I'll make it in black fabric." With that, I dug a failed dress and cut the backpack pieces in it.
I never thought it would take this much time to make. Like 3 or 4 hours ! But no! This took me SEVEN hours ( mostly because i didn't know how to sew it) . I enjoyed it anyway. It was not difficult to sew but i spend time asking myself what's next step? can I add something there?
I'll film the next one so you can see how I did it. I even think I 'll adjust some pieces and change things a bit.
Anyway, this was really fun to do. I think I'll make a tutorial for pencil cases. The only thing that bothers me is that I can't find the makeup bag in my bag haha it's like camouflage in there. But it's fun.

I must admit, I was obsessed with this fabric when I finished the backpack. I still had 30 centimeters of fabric that I didn't want to put in a box.
I decided to make a makeup case to go with my backpack. I love it because it's big enough to hold my foundation pen and , thanks to the pocket I made, everything stays in place, even when i shake it( not that I shake it on purpose of course).
With that , i wanted a pouch to take only my lipsticks with me, because I don't always carry all my makeup with me (I mostly go out with only lipstick on because I don't have the time for this haha). So I took my hexagonal pattern and made it. It's pretty easy (do you want a tutorial on it?)
After that, I still had a small rectangle and I neeeeeded to do something with it (or I couldn't sleep. And since it was already pretty late... I had to make something with it) I wanted a pencil case to keep my pens for work because I always lost my pens and That makes me mad sometimes. So i made one matching the bag.
