La limandi
my green skirt
Hey!You too have wonder on youtube and saw this Tailor swift everywhere on sewing channels?
every sewing youtuber I watch made one of their own and (you guessed it), I did as well.
at first I bought this fabric to make a new palazzo pant, but my fiancé pointed out that I was starting to have too much (and that's true). I still wanted to have either a skirt or a pant. So when I saw this skirt I knew that this fabric had to be for this skirt.
I find it really cool: sexy and bolod!
I made some adjustments with the closure and the length (obviously ) but I'm kinda proud.

I wanted a pleated dress but not all the way around so I measured the back and pleated it. Then I hemmed the three other sides before sewing the belt and the button. And I was done (yes! one cutting and a few stitches and that's all).

I have to modify the closure because I loose it when I stand (yes I lost it at work but I wore another skirt under so no big deal!)
If you're new at sewing, you can absolutly make one for yourself it's pretty easy (if you have tones of pins).
I wore it once (well twice if you count the photoshoot) but I plan to wear it with short or even pants in winter. I'll see.
I may make another one with a skirt attached to it and a vest version.
that's it for this skirt (I call it an overskirt)you can find me on Instagram or on youtube (the links are on the menu up there. Bye!!
