La limandi

Now for the jacket of this outfit. I wanted a set in this fabric but I did not have enough to make the sleeves.
So I searched among my leftover fabrics and found (rather by chance because I did not know I had this coupon) that purple fabric that is just perfect for this jacket. I almost regret not having found it earlier for the pants (the pockets would have been perfect !!!).
I played puzzle to place all pieces because I had cut my pants like a savage. So I put all the pieces on the cloth to thoroughly check that I had the right number of parts and it was .
I cut a pretty wide neck and rounded the opening part, I find it quite nice, it's different from what we find. I doubled the opening to keep it in place.
For the sleeves, I wanted a finish reminiscent of the fabric of the bust, so I cut the bias in the fabric and I installed it at the end of the sleeves.
I have not installed any closing for this jacket and I don't feel like putting one . I think it's quite fine like this and I'm afraid of ruining the form with buttons or a zipper.
Initially, the back was wide but I didn't like to wear the jackets with the pants because it wasn't pretty. The last time I wore it, I put safety pins to create a bulge effect and I liked it so I'll sew permanently.
I haven't worn it much with the matching pants because I was told it looked like pajamas. But since I changed the back of the jacket I like wearing them together more .
I don't think i'll ever wear the whole set but I love the fact that each piece is matching to another one of the outfit.

Voilà for this outfit. I wish you all a excellent day. Bye!
