Hello you!
Last summer I sewed this little summer jacket with the rest of this striped fabric (the same one; I don't need to introduce it to you anymore haha). I had the white cloth and wanted a long vest for the summer and what better color than white for sun protection ? huh?
But I didn't want an all white clothes, and this is where the striped fabric and this pretty flower fabric that I bought at Global fabric came along.

I used a vest for the shape and lengthened the bottom. I cut the fabric as if it were a dress, then I replaced the back piece with the flower fabric and I added a piece of striped fabric to the front. I sewed all the shoulders and sides before cutting the front in half to make the vest.
I installed a strip of the flowered fabric to the opening of the vest and made all hems.
I sewed some of the pressure buttons but just on the top until the belly button (not by laziness no!).
And I was done!

I like it but I don't wear it much, first because I made it in July, and I sewed a lot this summer, because I can not wear it then in the winter . And now my chest is too big to close it. (Haah).
